Under the esteemed leadership of seasoned professors and lecturers, the Department of English at Moran Mahila Mahavidyalaya has diligently offered a comprehensive curriculum encompassing various facets of English literature, language studies, and critical theory. The faculty members, with their vast reservoir of knowledge and expertise, have consistently employed innovative teaching methodologies that adapt to the evolving educational landscape. In the initial years, Professor Minaram Phukan ,Milaram Chetia of Moran College and Abbas Ali of Moran Higher Secondary School played a pivotal role, providing invaluable assistance alongside their regular engagement .Their dedication and support were instrumental in establishing a strong foundation for the department.
The department has later been enriched by the contributions of several dedicated faculty members, including Pallabi Saikia,Rashmirekha Chetia,Monalisha Konwar, Manashi Changmai, Chitralekha Borah, Ashima Gogoi, Annie Das, Mallika Bokolial, Himakhi Phukan, Priya Das, and Harshita Borthakur.
