- Teachers’ Day celebration: The students of department of history celebrated the Teachers’ day on 5th September, 2025 with the faculty members of the department as a sign of respect and gratitude to their mentors. Dr. Tarun Gogoi, Principal of the college presented as invited guest in the auspicious programme.
- Photo Exhibition: The department of History and “Yuva Tourism Club” organized a photo exhibition among the students on 27th September, 2025 on occasion of World Tourism Day. Dr. Tarun Gogoi, Principal, of the college inaugurated the exhibition.
- Celebration of Tourism Day: The department of History celebrated World Tourism Day on 27th September, 2025. The meeting was presided by Dr. Tarun Gogoi, Principal of the college and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Barthakur, President, Governing Body, Moran Mahila Mahavidyalaya was present as invited guest. Mr. Tulashi Das, Associate Professor of Moran College delivered a special talk on “Some New Aspects of Tourism in Northeast India”
- Inauguration of Oitijya: The hand written magazine of the department Oitijya was inaugurated on 27th September, 2025 by Dr. Rajendra Prasad Barthakur, President, Governing Body, Moran Mahila Mahavidyalaya in the presence of Dr. Tarun Gogoi, principal of the college and Mr. Tulashi Das, Associate Professor of Moran College. This latest volume was edited by Ms. Dipika Hiloidhari, a student of 5th semester.
- Departmental Seminar: On the day of 10th November, 2025 the students of department of history present their seminar papers for their Internal Assessment Examination.
- Community work and Special Class: The faculty of department of History had taken special class on 27th November, 2025 in the neighbouring schools and awareness programme about the relevant of history subject.
- Special Talk on Sardar Patel: The department of History celebrated the 150 birth anniversary of ‘Iron man of India’ Sardar Petal on 28th November, 2025. In this auspicious programme a special talk was delivered by Ms. Junmoni Sonowal Saikia, Astt. Prof. Department of Political Science, Moran Mahila Mahavidyalaya on Sardar Patel and National Unity.
- College Week: The students of department of history actively participated the Annual CollegeWeek of 2025-26 and got awarded individually and team work in the Sports Fest. The department awarded as the Best Team in the Cultural Rally competition, and Ms. Sumpi Mech, a 5th semester student awarded with Best Athlete of Moran Mahila Mahavidyalaya.
- Inaguration of Khoj: The Wall magazine of the department Khoj was inaugurated by Dr. Tarun Gogoi, principal of the college on 3rd February, 2026.
- Field Trip: The students of department of history organized a field trip as a part of their curriculum to historical sites of Digboi, Margherita and Ledo on 21th February, 2026.
- Guardian Meet: The department of History organized a Guardian Meet as their regular activities on 17th March, 2026. The meeting was presided by Mr. Luhit Baruah, Vice Prinncipal of the college and Mr. Pranjal Phukan, IQAC coordinator, of the college present as invited guest.
